Thank you, Sherry, for inviting me to post a link here to my blog. Three years ago I decided to read and write my way through Luke, with the focus of learning to listen to Jesus. That took two years (it's a long book). This year my "word" is hope, and I'm reading and writing my way through 1 Peter. You're invited to join me in this Bible study (subscribing to receive email posts ensures you won't miss any as I post from wherever I am, home or helping [care giving for] Mom). http://www.tracieheskett.com/reverence-for-god/

I hit subscribe and it brought up prices to pay per month. But this is saying free. ? I wasn’t wanting to pay per month

Substack is Greek to me. More than one person I know has switched over to it, though. Only yesterday I received an announcement via Substack (likely you received the same announcement). Waiting to see the place Substack will have in social media / online communication. In those days of early blogging, I was too busy working (two jobs, one of them writing for pay) to blog consistently. Three years ago I decided to take it up again. Probably because someone in the writer circles said that's what we should do--offer free content to readers for their benefit. I don't have great readership, but the accountability to write something for those few people has kept me writing once a week consistently, through life's "stuff." It's God's, to give to who He wants to read it. I'll try to follow your new venture....

I will check out your blog, Tracie, assuming it is linked on your Facebook. You might want to link it here, as well, for anyone else who is curious. Keeping up with a weekly post when you don't have much of a readership is an impressive feat. It must be difficult to find the motivation some weeks. Good for you for keeping it up.

Thanks. The last time I posted away from my desk, I got lazy and didn't link to Facebook. Time to start doing that again (but not today, as I've already posted plenty for one day!). Thanks for the offer to link here as well--do I simply put it in a comment with a Brief explanation?

Not always difficult to find motivation, but sometimes time is a factor, or focus, or.... life, you know?

Sure, you can just put it in a comment with a brief description of what you tend to write about.

When I went to look it up just now, I remembered that I have read your blog before. <3
