I like road trips and often travel alone. Friends worry. I tell them on the highway likely someone will come along to help. At home if I fall in the tub and hit my head, I’m at greater risk of not being rescued.
Loved listening to this! You make some good points. Nothing would ever get done if fear held us back. I do believe that some fear keeps us alert though, especially in different countries or cultures where we may not understand all the nuances. There were certain things about living in the two countries we did that we needed to know, and be alert to. We made some dumb decisions that led us into dangerous situations because of our naivete. Yet, as you said, most people are safe, and most situations can be helped.
Making friendships along the way is the best! Dangers exist but there’s no need to distrust everyone. I, too, believe in the goodness of people.
I think I would rather die from being too trusting than live in fear. 💜

Travel safely and enjoy!
TRUE! We can almost always find someone to help. 💜
Your nomadic adventures would make a fascinating reality television series worth watching.
Haha, it's less exciting when we are trying to do the dishes and laundry is hanging on the line to dry, all around our heads! 😂
